Book your initial appointment online

NEW CLIENTS - You can book your initial appointment online (or by phone or email).

Please read the information below carefully before proceeding.

Online bookings for your first appointments are available for any new client over 18 years old. If your specific issue is not listed or if you are booking for a person under the age of 18 years, you will need to contact reception for a further intake and to discuss which psychologist would be suitable.

We are not able to book online for anyone experiencing: Acute mania or psychosis, physical aggression towards other people, severe eating disorders requiring hospitalisation or medical attention, or active suicidal ideation (with intent and plan - please call 000 immediately).

Please read the information below to learn more about the fees, rebates, and cancellation policy, before booking online. After your online booking, we will email or call to confirm further details with you.

Appointments

Appointments last for approximately 50 minutes, to allow for 10 minutes note taking.

  • Appointments begin from $170 - $240.00

Rebate

A medicare rebate of $128.40 is available for 6-10 sessions with a clinical psychologist, with a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) prepared by your GP. The rebate for psychologists (note, all our psychologists are trained in clinical psychology) is $87.45.

The government has also allowed for an extension of the MHCP by an additional 10 sessions, during these challenging times. This means you may be eligible for up to 20 sessions on the MHCP.

After using up all your appointments on the MHCP for the year, you may be eligible for a rebate with your private health fund, depending on your level of cover. Please check with your private health fund.

Cancellation Policy

Please be aware that we have a strict cancellation policy.

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 8 hours notice and no shows - 100% of the session fee

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hrs notice - 50% of the session fee

This is because failure to give sufficient notice means that another client has potentially missed out on an appointment time. If more than 48 hours notice of cancellation is given, no fee will be incurred. Please be aware that cancellation fees cannot be claimed back from Medicare.
