I see each individual as being the experts in their own life. My role is to bring the knowledge, tools and approaches that have helped others navigate similar challenges, while working collaboratively with my clients to develop a greater sense of fulfilment, balance and peace.

My life experiences across a range of personal and professional settings have fostered a genuine curiosity about people and their unique stories. I have a deep interest in understanding what matters to each person and supporting them to move towards the life they want to live.

I feel privileged to be entrusted with your story and believe strongly in the value of having a safe, empathetic and non-judgemental space to explore life’s challenges. I aim to create a supportive and collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood and empowered to work towards your goals, at a pace that feels right for you.

Clinical approach

  • Draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based techniques, tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals.

  • Works primarily with adults and enjoys supporting clients across a range of life stages and challenges.

  • Takes a collaborative and holistic approach, considering the psychological, social and environmental factors that influence each person’s wellbeing.

  • Focuses on understanding each client’s unique experiences, strengths and values, while developing practical strategies to support meaningful and lasting change.

  • Creates a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where clients feel comfortable being open, honest and vulnerable.

  • Values culturally safe and responsive practice and welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and communities.

  • Meghan is a provisional psychologist in her final year of training of her Masters of Clinical Psychology.

Experience:

  • Supported adults and young people through experiences of serious illness, isolation, grief, uncertainty and major life transitions across a range of professional and volunteer settings.

  • Facilitated workplace group conversations using a solutions-focused approach, supporting people experiencing depression, anxiety, stress and relationship or interpersonal challenges.

  • Supported young people affected by cancer, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and the uncertainty and disruption that can accompany significant changes in life circumstances.

  • Worked alongside diverse communities in Australia and internationally, including people affected by HIV, marginalised communities across the Pacific Islands, individuals navigating the legal system, and young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds.

  • Prior to training as a psychologist, worked across policing, international development, law and small business. These experiences have provided a broad understanding of people’s lives and the personal, social and systemic factors that can shape their experiences.
