I aim to help clients of all ages and backgrounds overcome mental health challenges by understanding how these challenges affect their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and the impact it has on aspects of life. I work with clients to build the skills to navigate life's difficulties, pursue meaningful change, or discover new ways to cope with mental health concerns.

I use a non-judgmental, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. To help clients achieve their goals, I bring empathy, curiosity, and a strong commitment to evidence-based practices, ensuring tailored and effective support.

Clinical approach

  • Incorporates therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory, and mindfulness-based therapy.

  • Uses evidence-based interventions within a transdiagnostic framework to tailor interventions to clients' needs.

  • Using a strengths-based and collaborative approach, Mimi works with clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their overall well-being.

  • Works primarily with adults, as well as children and adolescents.
